Getting started
- How do I get my e-shop started?
Simply choose your package and signup. We’ll get back to you very quickly with your new Flex-e Shopping Cart account details.
- Do I need to setup a special bank account to handle my e-shop transactions?
Yes. To process credit cart payments from your customers you will need a Merchant account. Speak to your bank about setting one up if you do not already have one.
- Can Flex-e Shopping Cart be integrated into my existing site?
Yes! The beauty of Flex-e is that it can be styled exactly the same as your existing site and simply slots right in as if it’s been there all along!
- I don’t have a web site yet. Can I still use Flex-e Shopping Cart?
Sure you can! We can build your entire site for you and integrate Flex-e during the build. Prices start from $2500 inc gst for a customised website that includes all the shopping cart functionality! Call us today to discuss options.

- Ok, I’ve logged in for the first time. What next?
Once we have integrated Flex-e to into your website, you need to add your products. Products that you add show up in your e-shop straight away so you can see them just as your customers will.
- How can I retrieve my login details?
Simply call or email us. A few security questions later and you will be on your way again.

I’m no graphic designer. Just how easy is it to style my shopping cart?
The Design section of the control panel is very user-friendly. As you make changes to the style of your cart you can see how it looks online... live!

Can I suggest the addition of a new feature?
Absolutely! Let us know of any functionality you would like added to Flex-e and as long as it’s something that will benefit future users of Flex-e we promise to roll it out in the next release. Possibly even sooner if it’s required urgently! Our developers are always on the lookout for upgrades and suggestions for improvements... and they are always up for a challenge!
- Are my customers personal details and credit card details secure?
Yes they are. The flex-e shopping cart is protected by a 1024bit encryption certificate which encrypts personal details such as credit information.
Processing of orders

Am I notified when someone places an order?
You will receive email notification when an order is placed in your e-shop. Next step is to process the order by logging into the orders section of your e-shop’s control panel.
- Can my orders have a ‘status’ set to them so I can manage them efficiently?
Yes. You can set your order’s status and also sent out customised emails to customers when the status of their order changes. For example, your customer will receive a courtesy email the moment you change the status of their order from ‘Processing’ to ‘Dispatched’.
- Does Flex-e have an inventory system for monitoring stock?
Yes. Simply add your stock numbers and Flex-e will display stock amounts to your customers. With each sale, the stock numbers are adjusted. When you receive new deliveries, simply punch in the numbers to keep the online stock quantities updated.
